Course Description

ACCT 515 Forensic Accounting and Fraud examines financial fraud investigation, emphasizing how forensic accounting can help detect and deter such fraud. This course prepares students for future professional roles, whether as accountants or not, and what to do when they find or suspect financial fraud within their respective organizations. Students also learn where an organization is most susceptible to fraud, technology tools in forensic accounting, and the investigative and legal aspects of forensic accounting and fraud.
