Course Description

ACCT 845 The Expert’s Roles and Reports examines the roles and reports of forensic accountants and auditors as financial experts when they render services in connection with formal litigation or alternative dispute resolution. In this course, students learn about US civil litigation and how financial experts engage, commence work, and create value in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Students also learn about laws and regulations addressing financial expert testimony, preparing expert reports, and providing services for mediation, arbitration, and neutral decision‐making proceedings. (Formerly ACCT 845 : Role of the Expert and the Expert Report)
