Course Description

ACCT 865 Internship in Forensic Accounting is a group supervision course where training is provided. During weekly course meetings, key topics in forensic accounting preparation and professional development are discussed appropriately for an internship class. The weekly classes emphasize the legal aspects of forensic accounting practice, accounting concepts, depositions, reports, methodology, financial statements, tax returns, and testimony. Lectures are delivered to strengthen students’ professional skills, and students complete a supervised internship at a partner internship site with a work focus relating to their career objectives and academic training in Accounting Forensics. Charisma University arranges for students to work 20 hours weekly at the chosen internship site.
