Course Description

CSA 833 Cybercrime explores the technological and human aspects of cybercrime, primarily the individuals or networks of people who perpetrate them, the motivations and methods of these offenders, and the investigation of such crimes. Students learn about the formation, composition, and roles of the initial response team and how evidence is found and handled to support an action in civil or criminal court should the attacker be identified.

  • Identify key aspects of computers and the Internet in relation to online crime.
