DHS 715 Occupational Health Policy and Administration examines the essential laws, policies, and standards governing occupational health, grounded in case law, particularly European law. This course also explores the requisite occupational health administration approaches to comply with the laws, policies, and standards. Topics covered in this course include occupational health professionals’ legal and ethical duties, medical records and confidentiality, data protection, compensation for work-related injury, and evidence-based approaches to health and safety in the workplace.
