Course Description

DHS 765 Global Health Security and Humanitarian Emergency focuses on medical and public health humanitarian response to emergencies such as natural disasters, violent conflict, and epidemics. Through this course, students learn about innovative humanitarian response measures developed by international agencies and stakeholders and the implications of humanitarian emergencies and response on global health security, underpinned by a theoretical understanding of public health issues.
