This 8-week course incorporates a 10-day doctoral institute held in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The seminar encourages students to share their healthcare experiences, featuring a series of student presentations. The institute, led by approximately five faculty members from the School of Health Sciences, covers various health science topics, including global health, epidemiology, nursing sciences, and applications in public health and nursing leadership. The course also includes activities to refine professional knowledge, review dissertation writing skills, explore publication opportunities, and enhance software proficiency. Scheduled during the summer months, this course is mandatory for doctoral students who have successfully completed the core courses. Assignments will be submitted at the end of the 8-week course.
