Course Description

DHS 840 Statistical Methods in Health Care Research guides students on building the evidence base to underpin excellent practice in their area of health care, but who are challenged in designing good-quality statistical analyses that stand up to deep scrutiny. This course teaches students what they need to know to use statistics correctly to improve the robustness of their projects without all of the theory and complex mathematics. Therefore, this course guides students to harness statistical methods in health research, from the planning stage to the reporting stage.
