Course Description

DNP 770 E-Health in Nursing Practice explores cutting-edge studies on the role and impact of the Internet and other technologies in health communication across various contexts, emphasizing telemedicine for nursing. In this course, students learn about communication research testing conceptual models, and taking a critical theoretical perspective to examine emerging trends and sociodemographic factors associated with eHealth use and preferences. This course also covers eHealth intervention studies in both public health and clinical care contexts. (Formerly DNP 770 Telemedicine in Nursing Practice)
