Course Description

DNP 800 DNP Project & Practicum I is a group supervision course that provides training. During weekly course meetings, the instructor discusses the DNP practices for nursing leadership. Lectures are delivered to strengthen students’ professional skills, and students complete a supervised practicum at a partner institution with a work focus on nursing leadership. Charisma University arranges students to work 20 hours weekly at the chosen practicum site. In this course, students also complete their DNP Project Proposal for their final DNP Project. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop the requisite knowledge and competence in the practice of nursing leadership.
  • Develop proficiency in competent practice within a multicultural and diverse society.
  • Demonstrate evidence-based nursing competencies.
  • Complete and submit the DNP Project Proposal.
