Course Description

DPSY 801 Behavioral Assessment and Intervention explores the various facets of adult behavioral assessment, analyzed within comprehensive research and clinical contexts and integrated with conceptualizations and treatments. This course covers specific behavioral disorders and problems, assessment strategies and instruments, research methods, clinical factors, and treatment planning. This course also covers particular issues in behavioral assessment, such as the use of computer technology in assessing older adults, behavioral neuropsychology, ethical-legal issues, and value change in adults with acquired disabilities. This course also emphasizes ethical professional practice in behavioral assessment (Formerly DPSY 801 Behavioral Assessment).
