Course Description

FIN 645 Investments explores the fundamentals of investment intuitively and practically. Through this course, students learn investment theories and strategies from the perspectives of economics and finance to better understand the underlying story underpinning investment concepts. Topics covered in this class include financial markets, intermediaries, and instruments; portfolio theory; equity portfolio management; debt securities; and derivative markets and other investments.
