HCA 532 Teaching Strategies in Health Education explores clinical teaching strategies that are effective and practical in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Students learn different teaching strategies that are useful for courses and even school subjects in which the teacher is on site with students, in courses using preceptors and similar models, in laboratories, and in distance education environments. Students also learn innovative uses of pedagogical technologies and nontraditional sites for clinical teaching.
