HRM 528 Employment Regulations is an advanced course adopting a critical view of employment regulations. In particular, this course explores deep-seated global issues with employment laws and regulations that have resulted in embattled workers, disarrayed labor markets, and labor laws in flux. Through this course, students learn the weaknesses of the standard employment contract that have undermined the regulatory gains in labor markets and employment relationships. This course also covers new regulatory approaches to address employment law and regulation issues.
