Course Description

HRM 601 Conflict Management integrates principles and theories from organizational behavior and industrial psychology to address conflict within human resource management (HRM). Through this course, students will learn to effectively manage organizational conflict, covering the diagnosis and intervention stages. Topics include minimizing affective and process conflicts, reducing substantive conflict in routine tasks, optimizing moderate substantive conflict for non-routine tasks, and empowering organizational members with diverse conflict management styles.
