Course Description

MIR 638 Global Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism examines the origins and motivations of
terrorism based on theoretical understandings of individual and group behavior. In this course,
students learn the impacts of terrorism on individuals and communities, along with strategies for preventing, deterring, mitigating, and responding to terrorist threats. (Formerly MIR 638 Global Threat in Terrorism)
