MSN 541 Advanced Nursing Informatics engages students with advanced informatics research to learn, network, and help evolve nursing care, particularly quality and safety at the point of care. This course covers point-of-care solutions, models, and devices; big data analytics and decision support; meaningful use of electronic information systems; quality, safety, and ethics; patient participation and citizen involvement; education, competencies, and capacity building.
