Course Description

MSN 603 is designed for nurses practicing in the clinical setting and transitioning from the classroom to the clinical setting. This course teaches graduate students how to set up a research infrastructure in their actual or future institution or clinical setting. Students learn a practical approach to the research process and methods in nursing. This course also covers the essential operational, legal, and ethical research considerations, including resources on how to fund studies and work with vulnerable populations, such as children, older adults, and those needing additional protection in clinical research.
