Preceding clinical participation, the following requirements must be fulfilled:

  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Compliance with immunization and health requirements, including HepB, TB test, Flu, Tdap, and MMR (records).
  • Completion of a Clinical Preceptor Agreement.
  • Acquisition of Malpractice Insurance (specific to the institution).
  • Establishment of a Clinical Site Agreement.

The total number of credits required for Master of Science in Nursing – Entry Level Clinical Track is 100 credits.

Additional Admission Requirements
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Completion of a Statistics or equivalent course.
  • Successful completion of Anatomy & Physiology I & II with lab OR Human Anatomy with lab & Human Physiology with lab.
  • Completion of a Psychology course (minimum 3 Credits).
  • Completion of a Sociology course (minimum 3 Credits).
  • Successful completion of Microbiology with lab.
  • Completion of a Chemistry course (minimum 3 Credits; lab is optional).
  • Submission of an essay, at least 250 words, succinctly describing your perspective on nursing, your passions, and how you plan to impact your community as a student and graduate of Charisma University.
  • Submission of three letters of recommendation (1 clinical/professional, 1 academic, 1 personal).
  • HESI Admission Exam required for students with a GPA of less than 3.0 in science prerequisite courses. Please note, the HESI exit examination is part of the graduation requirements for this program.
  • Completion of a background check.
